Magnificent old sheet which dates from the beginning of the 20th century.
The material is a beautiful medium weight linen yarn with a fluid texture and ecru color.
The sheet has a large hand-embroidered AM monogram, made with satin stitch. A superb job probably done by nuns.
The hem work is spectacular, a wide net lace border is embroidered across the entire width of this amazing trousseau sheet.
This trousseau sheet is in very good condition.
I have freshly washed and ironed this bed sheet, it is ready to use!
Amazing used as a sheet, but also beautiful made into curtains!
