Collection: Doll's clothes

Playing with dolls is good, being able to dress it however you want is even better. Our doll clothes are hand sewn in old textiles, embroidered men's handkerchiefs, pieces of dyed hemp, fabrics found in the auction rooms… That's good, the large linen doll Bertille loves to shop. looking for the little dress in old flowered fabric, a cardigan with three quarter sleeves or a half-season coat. The rag doll's wardrobe is growing visibly, still right on trend with her ankle-length jeans and Peter Pan collar blouses. Her androgynous looks also go very well to her friend Igor, the linen cat doll!

Unique doll clothes sewn from old textiles

I use all the old antique textiles to imagine new looks for the Bertille rag doll. Her blouses are cut from men's handkerchiefs embroidered with linen thread, I hand-dye hemp pieces to make her faded jeans, her dresses are cut from damask linen tablecloths and pieces of heavy old linen.

A casual chic doll wardrobe

Bertille's wardrobe follows fashion trends with pencil skirts, loose blouses with Peter Pan collar, or woolen overcoats with three quarter sleeves. His coats and numerous berets are hand-sewn in wool from end-of-stock fashion houses.

Funny and quirky looks

Among the looks of the Bertille linen doll, there will very quickly be a navy spirit with sailor tops and striped jersey dresses. A Boho chic side with a long and very loose dress, a more schoolgirl look with socks, scarves to wear in many ways possible, a vintage fur collar and even a crown.

Jeans, the flagship piece of the androgynous look

Among the flagship pieces, we note the iconic jeans, always cut above the ankle, revisited in several materials, old hemp and mixed-race hand-dyed in indigo baths, 1950s chambray, thousand-striped velvets ... Not to mention flare jeans, very long and faded.

Doll clothes that are easy to handle

Each garment is hand-sewn and provided with elastic or Velcro straps for easy on and off. The buttons sewn on the coats are vintage, as are most of the elements that go into the making of our doll clothes.
